Auckland's weather does real damage. UV rays bleach your clear coat. Salt air from the coast sits on your panels. Bird droppings and tree sap etch into paint within hours on a warm day. A standard wash does not fix any of that.
Ceramic coating bonds directly to your paint and forms a hard, hydrophobic layer that repels water, contaminants and UV. It is not a wax that washes off in three weeks. Done right, it holds for years and keeps your car looking sharp with minimal effort.
There is also resale value to consider. A well-maintained car with a documented coating history sells faster and holds its price better. Ceramic coating is one of the few detailing investments that pays you back when you sell.

You fill in the quick quote form and Matthew gets back to you fast. He asks about your car, its current paint condition and what you want out of the coating. No guesswork, no surprises on the day.
5 mins online, reply within the hourThe car gets a thorough two-bucket wash followed by an iron fallout spray and clay bar treatment. This strips every layer of bonded contamination off the paint so the coating has a clean surface to bond to. Skipping this step is why cheap coatings fail early.
45 to 90 minsA machine polisher removes swirl marks, fine scratches and water etching from the clear coat. Paint correction is what makes the coating pop. You cannot coat over damage and expect a great result. This step is what separates a proper job from a quick spray-and-go.
1 to 4 hours depending on paint conditionEvery panel gets wiped down with a panel prep solution to remove any polish residue or oils. The surface needs to be completely clean and dry before the coating goes on. This step ensures maximum bonding and prevents high spots or streaking.
20 to 30 minsThe coating is applied one panel at a time using a suede applicator block. It is levelled off before it flashes to a high-spots. Each layer is applied with care and buffed to a consistent finish across the whole car. On Elite Armor, additional layers are added after the first cure.
1 to 3 hours depending on tier and vehicle sizeThe coating needs time to cure properly before the car gets wet or is driven in heavy rain. Matthew walks you through the aftercare requirements, checks every panel under a light source for uniformity, and hands over an aftercare guide so you know exactly how to maintain it.
